If you are a regular attendee of CBFand you indicate a desire to become a member, there are 2 qualifiers:
1. Profession that you are a Christian having confessed and repented of your sins,
and in faith have personally accepted Jesus Christ into your life as Lord and Savior
and are a follower of Him.
2. Baptism by immersion in water.
If you have not been baptized by immersion in water subsequent to your profession of salvation through Jesus Christ, arrangements can be made for you to be baptized.
Following your request to become a member of CBF (a) you will be given an "Application for Church Membership" booklet to be completed, (b) you will need to attend 2 membership classes, and (c) you will meet with the Pastor and a deacon or two deacons to review your application booklet.
The final step is to give a public personal testimony of your conversion before the church afterwhich, church members will vote on your acceptance as a member. A public welcome to CBF will follow during a worship service.
If you are already a member of another church and you meet the 2 qualifiers detailed above, you may request your membership be transferred to CBF. After completing an "Application for Church Membership", a letter of transfer will be requested from your previous church. Upon receipt of this letter a public welcome to the CBF will follow.
