Free-will offerings are received at worship services to support the operation and ministries of CBF. CBF does not conduct any fund raising activities such a bake sales, raffles, bingo nights etc. It never requires people to give, or asks for specific amounts of money. Occassionally, special offerings are taken to raise money for specific church projects.
The collecting of an offering is meant for our own people at CBF, and it is not expected that visitors give.
All offerings can be receipted for income tax purposes provided the giver uses the boxed set of numbered envelopes available to regular givers. Occassional and visitor givers should use the envelopes placed in the seat racks and provide their a name and address if a tax receipt is desired. Requests for boxed, numbered, envelopes should be made to Lois Chipps, the church financial secretary.
