History
Since June 2006 Courtland Bible Fellowship has been the new name and identity of the former Courtland Fellowship Baptist Church. CBF is affiliated with Harvest Bible Fellowship, the church planting and support ministry of Harvest Bible Chapel in Chicago, Ill. led by Senior Pastor, James MacDonald.
As time progressed since 2006 it became apparent that further changes were necessary if CBF was to conduct an effective and relevant ministry for God in this community. Thus, early in 2010 CBF aligned with Evangel Community Church in Kitchener led by Pastor Stan Starkey, who have drawn along side of us and are provideing leadership and guidance through this period of change. The interior of our Worship Centre is being changed with technical upgrades and our service style and music is now quite contemporary. However the message we proclaim, the Gospel, God's message, has not. God is unchangeing!
CBF is a conservative, Bible believing, non-denominational, evangelical church that does not preach a specific religion but instead passionately preaches the Word of God without apology, and the importance of having a personal realtionship with God through Jesus Christ His Son, Savior to the world. In 2010 the church will celebrate its 135th anniversary.
